On the Revolver boards I was (shock) exploding_pool. Real name is Heather. I am a 19-year-old broke college student who enjoys digging through couch cushions for spare change to buy music. I'm majoring in Human Services now, but hope to one day become a certified Vet Technician (school for that is expensive and daunting though). I have a wonderful 21-year-old boyfriend and actually today marks 10 months we've been together. Yes, I'm girly and count months.

And yes, it's nice to be back with you fuckers again (and swearing feels so nice).

I was Premonition666 on Revolver, I rarely stopped by other than to plug my shitty band and stuff.

I like Death Metal mainly, I also like metalcore and other sorts of music. I recently beat cancer, but that's a long ass story. I'm moving back to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in a few days until April when I'll move back to Canada and begin university a year late.

I know all you geezers. Hows it going? Hopefully we get a lot of old friends back, i may even accept some cool new people haha.

Yeah guys, I already spreaded the word to most of the people that were on the Revolver forums, excluding stabyourcat, Kruutis, cremeolith, and possibly two other people. I just couldn't find them in the midst of the interwebz.
I invited some few new friends of mine. Some of they are into some pretty obscure BM, others have a good variety, but I figure that they could learn well from here.

On the Revolver boards I was known as Mudvayne708 but considering I was much younger when that SN was made and my musical taste has changed immensely I figured I'd change it up a bit. For those of you that I'm not friends with on Facebook, the name's Mike and I'm from Maine, a beautiful place but a shithole for metal music. My preferred styles of metal are Stoner, Doom, Sludge and Thrash but I'll give anything a chance.

I have yet gained the listening expertise that many of ya'll have, but everyday is a learning experience. Hence why I love the genre so much, there is just SO MANY bands and sounds to explore. Thanks in part from the recommendations of the Revolver peeps, I am mostly fond of old-school death metal, blackened thrash, and I am wading through the more obscure metal, like Blasphemy.
I was tired of waiting for some other forum to turn up on itself, so I'd rather take action myself instead of waiting for the change I wanted. The Revolver boards were my home away from home, a place I could go to for awesome metal tips and links. My friends are still into the more progressive side of metal, but I got them into Atheist so that's a good start...which would have never came to be if it wasn't for the old boards. I also liked the fact that I can never be selfish of what I really listen to, whether it'd be metal or not. Those were good times then, that I'm definitely willing to share with again.
