Been seeing a lot of praise for them here so I finally checked them out the other day and really liked what I heard. According to Metal Archives there was only 100 copies of the CD-R and 200 of the cassette released and after a little Google searching I can't find any place to buy it. Is it out there and available or would I be better off just downloading it?

Just use a blog or something to download it. I bought the tape two weeks ago. Pretty good for one man band standards, but not that great in my opinion.

It's pretty ok, nothing too amazing. I'm just gonna download it soon.

You fuckers are crazy, best album of the year. Shred

I was lucky enough to win one of the 100 CDs on eBay, so there might be a copy occasionally floating around on there. I'm pretty sure everywhere else is sold out of the CD by now, you might still be able to get a cassette on a distro somewhere (not sure where, I don't buy cassettes). Your best bet is to download though. They really need to do a reprint or something...

It's fairly derivative Incantation worship, but it's hard to fuck up Incantation... so it's pretty good.

So, sounds like my best bet is to download it unless I happen to run across a copy somewhere. I'll get on that in the near future. Nana

I don't see it as being Incantation worship at all. It's obviously influenced by Incantation, but there's a hell of a lot more going on most Incantation worship...like Vasaeleth or something.

AGREED! VK, you said once before that it's similar to Incantation, but I just don't see any hint of them AT ALL. Evil or Very Mad

I wish it sounded more like those bands. I really don't think it's anything great.

I feel the same way about most of those bands that blatantly rip off Incantation with little to no variation. A lot of them are a decent listen, but very few actually become something I listen to often. Father Befouled, Witchrist and Dominus Xul are really the top of that heap for me, with Dominus Xul being better than Incantation in my opinion.

I still can't figure out which Incantation album The Wakedead Gathering is "worshiping". I hear the influence, but there's too much else going on for them to be lumped in as just another Incantation clone.

The vocals and production are reminiscent of Incantation. Beyond that, I don't hear much similarity.

I listened to it again today and fucking love it, so I don't get the hate. It's meat and potatoes death metal, but the meat and potatoes are prepared well.
